The "Khmara PRO" application has been developed with the primary aim of providing real-time information about potential hazards associated with nuclear accidents. In the event of an explosion or radiation release, the app effectively displays the affected area and prevailing wind direction while notifying users' contacts about the imminent danger. Additionally, users can view the locations of nearby Nuclear Power Plants and other high-risk facilities and simulate a nuclear strike scenario on the map, allowing for the selection of various impact yields measured in kilotons.

This application is designed to enhance not only personal safety but also the safety of loved ones during nuclear emergencies.

App Features:

• The "Khmara PRO" app enables users to assess impacted areas and obtain forecasts on the dispersion of radioactive contamination, factoring in real-time wind speed and direction.
• In the event of a nuclear incident or an accident at a Nuclear Power Plant, operators promptly mark attack points on the map for immediate awareness.
• Users have the capability to initiate scenarios involving accidents or explosions at Nuclear Power Plants.
• The application includes emergency contact buttons specific to selected countries, along with recommended survival actions in case of a nuclear explosion.
• Should a nuclear threat arise, the app automatically alerts registered contacts about the situation.

Upcoming Features:

• Real-time monitoring of background radiation across Ukraine and neighboring countries displayed on the map.
• An option for users to send automatic emergency messages in advance via SMS to designated contacts.
• Functionality for tracking loved ones’ locations with their consent, particularly in instances where communication may be disrupted.
• Access to detailed weather information (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure) for any location within Ukraine and bordering countries including Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, or Moldova.
• A widget can be installed on the main screen featuring forecasts related to weather and radiation levels, encompassing areas around Nuclear Power Plants and their vicinity.
• Alerts regarding air raid warnings will be included in future updates.
• The map will display locations of critical services such as Police Stations, Hospitals, Fire Departments, bomb shelters, and other public protective services.
• Users will have the ability to create evacuation routes that eliminate geographical threats from their journey plans.

The implementation timeline for these features is scheduled for March 2023.
